Product Overview

The HJ-Z Series uses a crank-connecting rod mechanism for a robust, heavy-duty drive system suited to demanding industrial environments. Its excellent corrosion resistance and broad material selection make it the preferred choice for chemical and petrochemical applications handling high-viscosity or highly corrosive media.

Working Principle

A motor-driven eccentric cam converts rotary motion into linear reciprocating diaphragm movement. Dosing rate is adjusted by changing motor speed via frequency inverter or by the stroke length adjustment mechanism. Mechanical pumps provide higher flow rates and pressures than solenoid pumps and are preferred for continuous-duty industrial applications.

Wiring & Signal Output

Power supply: 380 V AC / 3-phase (standard); 220 V AC available
Control input: 4–20 mA analog signal (proportional dosing)
Control input: 0–10 V or 4–20 mA for inverter speed control
Level alarm input: dry contact (NC/NO) for low-level shutdown
Fault output: dry contact relay (motor fault / overload)
Optional: RS485 Modbus RTU for SCADA/BMS integration

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a solenoid and a mechanical diaphragm metering pump?+

Solenoid pumps use an electromagnet to drive the diaphragm and are suited for low-flow, low-pressure applications. Mechanical diaphragm pumps use a motor and eccentric mechanism, offering higher flow rates (up to 1500 L/h), higher pressures, and more stable output for demanding industrial processes.

Can this pump handle viscous fluids?+

Yes. Mechanical diaphragm pumps can handle fluids with viscosity up to 1000 mPa·s. For higher viscosity, contact us for a customised solution.

What control options are available?+

Standard models include manual speed adjustment via a variable-frequency drive (VFD). 4-20mA analog input and pulse input are available for automated control.

What certifications does this pump have?+

CE marking and ISO 9001 quality management certification. ATEX explosion-proof versions are available for hazardous area installations.

Is OEM or private label available?+

Yes. TL Environment offers OEM manufacturing and private label services. Contact us with your specifications and volume requirements.
