Cooling water systems are susceptible to scale deposition, corrosion, and biological fouling — all of which reduce heat transfer efficiency and increase energy consumption. A properly designed chemical treatment program requires precise, independent dosing of multiple chemicals at controlled concentrations. The TL-DS-CW skid integrates all dosing functions into a single, compact unit with centralized monitoring and control.
Working Principle
The skid incorporates 2–4 independent metering pumps, each connected to a dedicated chemical tank (scale inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor, biocide, dispersant). Each pump is controlled independently: scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor are typically dosed proportionally to make-up water flow (via a 4–20 mA signal from the make-up water meter); biocide is dosed on a timer-based shock dosing schedule; dispersant is dosed continuously at a low rate. Online sensors (conductivity, pH, ORP) monitor the cooling water quality and trigger automatic blowdown or chemical dosing adjustments.
