Request a QuoteProduct Overview
The TL-PH Series digital pH/ORP sensors use a glass electrode measurement principle with built-in temperature compensation. Designed for continuous online monitoring in water treatment, chemical dosing control, and industrial process applications. RS485 Modbus RTU output enables direct integration with PLCs and SCADA systems.
Working Principle
Electrochemical sensors measure ion activity or electrical properties of the liquid. A reference electrode and measuring electrode create a potential difference proportional to the ion concentration (pH/ORP), or an AC excitation signal is applied across electrodes to measure conductivity. Built-in NTC temperature compensation corrects readings across the full operating temperature range. RS485 Modbus RTU output transmits calibrated values directly to PLCs and SCADA systems.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the measurement range of the pH/ORP sensor?+
The TL-PH Series measures pH from 0 to 14 pH (±0.1 accuracy) and ORP from -1999 to +1999 mV. It includes automatic temperature compensation (ATC) for accurate readings across 0–80°C.
What output signals are available?+
RS485 Modbus RTU and 4-20mA analog output are standard. The sensor integrates directly with PLCs, SCADA systems, and TL display controllers.
How often does the sensor need calibration?+
Calibration frequency depends on the application. For clean water, monthly calibration is typical. For wastewater or chemical dosing control, weekly calibration is recommended. The sensor supports 2-point and 3-point calibration.
Is the sensor suitable for outdoor or submerged installation?+
Yes. The IP68 protection rating allows continuous submersion. The POM/SS316L construction is suitable for both immersion and flow-through installations.
Can this sensor be used for swimming pool water monitoring?+
Yes. The TL-PH Series is widely used for pH monitoring and control in swimming pools, aquaculture, and drinking water treatment.
